Broadband usage allowance

Can someone explain what this means,(your usage allowance is 10gb.)

It means that if your allowance is 10Cb (a month) that will include uploading as well as downloading. You will 'usually' be downloading much much more that up.

A guide to the amounts would be something like 30 hours of downloaded movies in Divx format or 3000 songs or tens of thousands of web pages or a combination.

If you don't plan on streaming TV or radio then your limit will be more than enough.

ambra4s link is perfectly right, but in laymans language it means that you cannot download from the internet any more than 10 GB of music, films, or anything else per month.

This includes Every Web Page and E-Mail etc that you download
