Hi can anyone tell me what the different download speeds between 512 and 1mb should be please?

Regards Starlet

Just as it says! Those are the maximum speeds, which you will never attain unless you were in the exchange!

My 1MB speed is 995.

Thanks graham just before i asked the question i was still on 512 I was expecting by now to be on 1mb, and whould you know it now I am on 1mb with speeds of 994 down - 264 up, I guess i'm a little too quick asking for information I should have waited.
Thanks Starlet

Congrats. Bear in mind the upload speed is generally the same for all BB packages.

Hi Guys, I know this issue has been resolved - but continuing in the same theme, my connection speed is shown as 100.0 Mbps. How does that compare with your 512 or 1MB? Ethernet ADSL. lol

Hi Technotiger,

When I was on 512 on the taskbar it showed speed of 100.0 mbps, I am now on 1mb and still on the taskbar it shows the same 100.0 mbps so I am unsure what it means?
But if I go on the adsl speedtest site it give me the proper speeds.

The speeds on the taskbar are the modem properties, not the speed of the connection.

Thanks Graham, we live and learn :-) lol
