I would like to know if the forum members consider this BT speed test is OK for an 8Mb Broadband connection.

IP profile for your line is - 750 kbps

DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM) 7008 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)

Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 692 kbps

IP profile for your line is - 750kbps. Does this mean BT have choked my connection to 0.7Mb?

Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 692 kbps. Does this mean that I only downloaded at a speed of 0.0692 kbps during the speed test?

Any info would be appreciated.

BT are coming out tomorrow so I will close this query.
