what's the consensus for the best value broadband with telephone ISP at the moment?
(This is for a friend who's calculated up to 15Gb useage per month)

Tiscali does 1MB unlimited with Anytime phone calls for £19.99.

As far as I'm aware you can still update this to 2MB unlimited with the same phone offer for £21.99 from the My Account Upgrade/Downgrade section.

Plusnet 'Broadband Pus' MB at £14.99 per month click here. Just note while theres no limit on the amount you can download the service is throttled in favour of users web browsing and emailing. It might also be worth your mate checking the Co's fair usage policy or considering one of there more expensive packages which offer contention ratios of 30:1 as opposed to 50:1 with this service.

I've been signed up on this service for a little under 2 weeks and thus far I am more than happy with it (dowloading 1MB takes 5 or less seconds). They offer various sign up options including the option of having a monthly contract which I took out(for a small additional up front one off fee) and supplying with or without modem hardware. Also the company's web portal is excellent.

The query was for broadband with voice calls, not BB alone.

Tiscali does 1MB unlimited for £14.99 including all equipment required and 2MB for £17.99.

Sorry hard day etc etc scrub what I said since it isn't applicable in this case but its still a good deal in other respects!

Compared to Tiscali, that's a fiver a month dearer for 1MB and calls and £3 dearer a month bundled with 2MB, both BB speeds unlimited and with Anytime 01 and 02 calls.

I am stuck with it for 12 months
