Broadband Modem

Hope you can help me. I was with a ISP in Ireland for about 1 year and would like to change. but i really don't want to buy a new modem every time i decide to change.
My question is this, can i use my old modem with my new ISP, or are they locked to a particular ISP.
And if they are locked, can they be unlocked. As it is a waste to leave a good (working) modem in a box.It is a Netopia 3347 wired and wireless.

Thanks for your time.

You should be able to use your Netopia with any new ISP.

The ISP's website will provide details of configuration on its website's Help and Support pages.
