broadband modem

i have a bt broadband modem, but after 10mins online it freezes, all the lights stay on on the modem but i am unable to continue to surf the web, even when i try to disconect it it won't let me and i have to reboot can any one help, is my modem on the way out or is it a virus? running windows xp pro

Don't know about the voyager 100 but I had similar problems with my voyager 205 and it turned out to be the USB connection that was at fault.Don't know if this helps you or not.

You could try another USB connection.

are you connected through a usb hub or direct to your pc?

OK,you could have a virus or a worm etc, click here, download, run and delete all it finds. Download MS antispy from click here, run and delete all it finds. click here, download the free version of adaware and delete all it finds. Update your AV and do a full scan. Try these first.
