Any suggestions as to how a person with moderate IT knowledge can adapt BT Broadband Basic and Microsoft Outlook Xp to allow me to reply to and send emails via my University email account?

thank you!

You simply need your Uni pop3 server name / password and the BT smtp server.

"Please note that the most basic BT ADSL connection package does not include an outgoing mail server"

This is the problem I guess?
Is there a way around this with BtBroadband basic ?
