broadband and e-mail don't go!

I have just signed up with tesco broadband service having been with wanadoo dial up for a number of years. IE works fine with new connection however I can't seem to get OE to send any mails. I have been issued with a new e-mail address from tesco but no instructions on setting up. So do I have to set up a new account for my broadband address and if so what is the server name and type (pop3,stml etc)?

Thanks for your concern Alan, I checked out the link and there was plenty about Tesco BB problems and complaints, however there was nothing definite about my problem. So if anyone can help I would be most grateful. Surely someone has signed up with a different BB provider to their dial up ISP!
