Broadband connection problem - VTruckDbg

After reinstalling Windows XP I had to reinstall my broadband (Virginmedia, previously NTL) connection. The installation wouldn't work and an error message regarding "VTruckDbg" came up. This happened last time (2005) and the NTL helpline were really good and talked me through the fix. This time Virginmedia haven't got a clue and just refer me to a rip-off premium phone line. Can anyone help?

If using an ethernet connection,[Hope I got that right]You dont have to reload the disc.It should work automatically.

Dipso, thanks. buteman - unfortunately it's a USB connection via a set top TV box.

Thanks guys (or gals) - the links proved useful. Deleting the VTruckDbg files and installing the USB driver (available from Virginmedia website) sorted the problem.
