Broadband Connection

Could anyone tell me what else I need installed in my PC in order to receive broadband?

I already have an Intel 536EP V.92 Dial-up Modem and a Realtek 100/10MBps Fast Ethernet PCI-Bus/Adapter.

Do I need an ADSL Modem or does the Fast Ethernet card serve that purpose?

I would say that you certainly need an ADSL modem.

You need an ADSL interface adaptor, commonly known as a modem although it isn't a modem. The Realtek thing is to connect to another PC.

Not to forget a ISP .like if you choose bt broadband.or any one that uses your telephone line, you will need core filters.
