Is this possible:-

To have NTL Broadband using a USB Modem connection and running AOL 56k using a Dial up PCI modem both from the same computer but not at the same time ?.

To re word if no one understands me:- Computer running NTL Broadband and also AOL ISP from using a Dial up PCI modem as well.

I this really possible ?

My friend say's he does it ok, I don't think its legit.

Yes you can!

Alot of poeple still keep their 56K modem as a backup connection just in case their broaband goes down.

You can't run both connection with 1 card. Your broadband and Dial-up accounts will need 2 different cards. A BB card and 56K modem card!

Yes it's no problem - you can even log onto the net with both at the same time (I just tried) - I don't know what this could do for you tho'!!
