hi

ive just bought a new pc from evesham and last night it turned off fine but in the morning the screen came up with "no signal". The pc turns on fine (i think). Evesham are coming out to fix it tommorow but id like to know what has happened to it.

The flat screen is a viewsonic 19inch flat and the GPU is a Geforce 6800gt running on DVI!!!

I hope ive given you enough details to help me sus whats wround with my machine.

if the screen can display a signal, it may not be the screen's problem. Possibly the Video Card or Power Supply? What is the wattage of your PSU?

It could be just an imperfect connection, e.g. graphics card worked loose. Wait for the engineer...

yeh i thought that at the begining as none of my other screens worked on it

If you've tried other screens and they are exactly the same then as VoG™ has said its probably just a bad connection.

Had the same problem. Try switching off monitor and then back on again whilst PC is running.

Sorry I missed that you had already tried other screens anyway. Ignore previous comment
