Hi, there does anyone know where i can download the original windows xp professional boot.ini file. Myn still works but i think the files has a little problem, because it takes longer now to find mu os on boot.

Type MSConfig at the Run command and you can choose to use your original Boot.ini file.

However this is nothing to do with your mouse taking longer to be found. The boot.ini basically just tells the BIOS which O/S to Boot and where it can be found.

Your problem may be driver related.

You could may be use this and edit it to what partitions you have. Failing that I could send mine, it is the strait XPhome ini file
