Booting at start up help.

I have just got my computer back from the repair shop and i think that whenever it is booting at start up it is booting up from the floppy drive, what should it be booting from at start up, i have four options.
1. Removable device - floppy.
2.IDE hard drive - Maxtor.
3.Atapi c.d rom - pcdv.
4.Other boot device.

Did they leave a disk in the floppy drive and so it's not booting into Windows? If so, that was careless of them. Hit delete (usually) to enter set-up immediately after the computer turns on and change the boot order to 1. IDE hard drive - Maxtor and next time you switch on it should boot normally into Windows.

Hi kate b thanks for the advise, no they didn't leave a disk in the floppy drive, but the computer is working as if is was reading a floppy disk, whenever i change the boot sequence to boot from hard drive will it boot up any quicker.

Yes, a bit, as it won't be looking to the floppy drive first for something to boot from.
