boot up screen

when i turn my pc on i get the usual info on the systemfor a split second then the screen goes novatech for about ten seconds. is there any way of getting rid of the novatech screenon boot up as it is very annoying?my mobo is a foxconn which was part of a mobo bundle from you guessed it novatech.

There is often a setting in the BIOS which controls this. BIOS screens from one PC to another are all different but you should probably look under Advanced BIOS Features or the BOOT options to see if there is anything. Just a word of warning though, don't change things in the BIOS without taking a note of the original setting or you could stop the PC booting up properly.
