Just built a new system with KNL 1 Extreme mobo, 2x Nvidia 7600 2x Sata 250 Hdds and 4 gb ddr 4oo Ram.

Prob is, if left off for more than an hour I get "system is in safe mode please to be rre-setting frequency in bios" (not a typeo just what it says

Pressing F1 will boot the system with no loss of performance as far as I can see....

Most Important thing I left out cpu is dual core
3800 Any Ideads..lookked at BIOs updates, but cant find anything newer than what I have

the BIOS message is probably telling you it's loaded what are usually called "fail safe" defaults => meaning very conservative settings that should allow the system to run okay. If it's running fine after you press F1 then you're having a problem with the CMOS retaining its settings. MAke sure CMOS battery is inserted correctly and /or replace the CMOS battery.

Also check for a short circuit between the battery + terminal and chassis.

Think Battery may be the culprit.... will try a spare!!
