Age of PC?

Make / Model?

could be CMOS battery voltage low BIOS losing settings or PSU starting to fail.

Also try first disabe Quick / FAst boot option in BIOS. This will let HDDS spin up to speed and be seen before BIOS fully boots.

its new build pc
except for the agp and sound card

motherboard k8n ne2 platinium
hdd seagate 300gb sata ll
psu enermax noisetaker 600watt
cpu athlon 64 4000
agp x800 xt pe
ram ocz 2x512mb
i have tried by disabling quick boot but the problem is still there

Would not expect CMOS battery and PSU to be bad on a new build.

Have you selected the default settings in the BIOS?

Have you upgraded the BIOS to the latest BIOS?

That AVX CD/DVD-ROM SCSI drive is an image drive

Do you have alcohol 120% or something similar as a drive emulator?
