Boot magic problem

Hi,
When I boot my PC I get the following message.
' -|||||-' (or something like that)
'ERROR FINDING BTMAGIC IMG'
'RUN BOOT MAGIC INSTALL'
'PRESS ANY KEY'
Upon pressing any key my OS loads fine.
I had uninstalled Partition magic 8.0 and Boot magic and thought they were gone.
My PC consists of a C drive with the OS on and an F drive on a different hard disk for my data. There are no other partitions. I am using WIN XP
I looked in BOOT.INI to see if there was anything there but it there isn't. It is set to load my XP.
This isn't causing me too much trouble as I can get to my OS but I would be interested to know how to remove this problem.
I tried reloading Boot Magic to uninstall it again but it wasn't having any of it.
Thanks in advance!!
