Hi,

I successfully installed a Logitech cordless keyboard & mouse MX5000 last night with no apparent problem.

However, my son has just told me he is getting this message?. Is it something to do with the keyboard/mouse

Any help is appreciated.

regards
Brian

Check there is no CD or floppy in the drives and retry.

Disk boot failure means it cannot find the operating system on a drive.

Thanks Fruit Bat,

My son's (aged 10 ) has just checked that and re-booted PC still no joy.

The keyboard has bluetooth would that cause it.

Can you get into the BIOS? (setup)
ther will be a message on the screen as it tries to boot saying something like "Press F? to enter setup"

In the BIOS check that the first boot device is set as CD drive and second as the Hard drive. Disable any USB boot devices.
Save and exit (F10)

it should then try and reboot into windows.

Thanks again FB

I'll try that when I get home shortly.
