Can anyone point me to a simple freeware bookkeeping program that I can download safely (preferably from a site with a signed certificate)? I want to use it for keeping a list of income, expenditure, balance, with dates and references to till receipts.

Give Moneybox 32 a try. It is free and is written by a Forum Members Father.

I am using it now instead of Quicken.
