hello there

i just recently purchased a XFX Geforce Fx5200 AGP8x 128MB DDR DVI TV-Out, to replace my on board graphics card. Before i go installing my new card in. Do i uninstall my on-board graphics card? Also how do i turn my on board graphics card off? Once i turned it off will it give bak my 32MB shared memory?

thanks!

Install your card physically, then switch on as normal, install your software, reboot, get into bios disable onboard graphics. Save changes and exit.

Yes, you'll get your 32mb back.

There is not on in there? Remember to take anti-static pre-cautions !! see here for pictures on how to do it: click here

there should be an option there for you when you switch on, usually f2 or del, if it's to quick to see, refer to your motherboard manual for the correct key press.
