BluRay will not play.

Purchased a brand new HP computer last week and watched a couple of Bluray movies on it a few days ago. The same two discs will no longer play as eventually WMP comes up on both with the message 'Unsupported Format'. I have checked the region and that is OK and normal dvds do play. Any ideas?

If WMP played BluRay last week, then why won't it play this week,Beta? Any ideas on that?
Thank you

Beta

Have downloaded PowerDVD but when I put a BluRay disc in the drive Power DVD comes up with the message 'No disc in drive'.
I amcompletely stumped.

The two discs were Casino Royale and a disc of Opers and Ballet scenes. I have downloaded WinDVD. It won't even open and run so that is as useless to use as Power DVD. I have checked the drive in Device Manager and it says that everything is working perfectly which quite obviously it is not.So I have ended up with several programs not one of which will play a BluRay DVD. Marvellous!
All in a high spec, brand new computer!

Brand new computer bought last week doesn't play blu-ray discs. It's not fit for the purpose it was sold. Take it back and be prepared to argue!

Looking in device manager the drive is listed as

HL-DT-ST-BDDVRW-GBC-H20L SCSI CDRom Device.
