Having been using Skype successfully for months, I have now been trying unsuccessfully for hours to link a Bluetooth Headset to my computer tower. I saw somewhere that Bluetooth is incompatible with Skype, but fail to see any logic for that, since one is presumably only effectively providing a wireless link between the microphone/speaker and the tower.
The facts are: My OS is XP. The (fully charged) Headset is a Sony HBH65, bought second hand so, no intructions! The tower has a USB2 connected IVT corporation Blue Soleil ES-388 Dongle. I keep getting error message "Please make sure MS Outlook 2K/XP is installed!". After trying all combinations I can think of I am still "Not connected".
Any ideas please?
