Bluetooth dongle query

I have just installed a D-Link bluetooth dongle on my PC. I would like to use it for syncing my mobile to Outlook. I can get it to send from outlook to the mobile, (unfortunately not tel. book), but not the reverse. When I try to send a calender note from the Mobile (sonny Ericsson BTW) to outlook I just get "Transfer Failed". Is this normal or have I got one of the BT settings wrong, if so which one, and how do I fix it?

Why are you 'sending' via bluetooth when you should just be synching ? Or isn't that what you want to achieve?

Why are you 'sending' via bluetooth when you should just be synching ?

Because I don't have a synchronization software program installed.

Software you get with bluetooth adaptor or your phone should do that.
