Bluetooth connection unplugged

  bruno 17:53 19 Feb 2009

I am using XP home and am trying to connect my mobile to it using a Belkin F8T013 usb adaptor. It tells me that the cable is unplugged.I have used it without a problem in the past and the only thing I have changed is that I reinstalled XP in November. It may have nothing to do with it. Any suggestions appreciated.

It might be that when you installed XP again you have not installed the bluetooth drivers. Do you have a seperate partition on your computer with a folder that has the programs in it that were on the main drive beforew you re did XP.
On mine I have a folder in my "D" drive, its not my restore folder but just one where the programs are when I bought the computer three years ago.
I just looked in it to find what I wanted then installed from there.
Sorry I cannot be anymore help.

I have managed to get it working again by uninstalling the programme and reinstalling it again. I could not do that yesterday as I could not find the disc, but I found it this morning. Thank you both for your help.
