Bluesoleil won't work in XP limited Account

  old_codger 20:03 07 Jul 2009

Installed Release 070517 software supplied with Mikomi Bluetooth V2 adapter model BD-02 (Argos MK9 2NW).

Works fine in XP Professional SP3 Administrator account, e.g. able to see folders in remote (Motorola) device and download photo files OK. However, when in XP Limited account, unable to view remote folders or download files. It was initially paired OK in limited account.

On boot-up in limited account, temporary message above system tray area says Bluetooth adapter not enabled, but settings greyed out because limited account.

so what is wrong with an administrator account?

Nothing wrong, but for Internet use I have read that it is more secure to run in limited account mode, or do you not agree?

I was just surprised I couldn't access the remote device to upload a photo file to a website when in limited account.
