Blue Screen After Activating Two Graphics Cards

  roclive1 00:02 21 Nov 2009

A mate has just attempted to run two graphic cards simultaneously on one monitor (TV actually), after both first enabling SLI mode and installing the MSi graphic drivers.
However, straight away, he got the dreaded blue screen, with a 'No Signal' message, and something about a mode problem. What's happened, and what can he do?
Many thanks.

"The computer's specs are: QUAD CORE 14.4Ghz -8GB Memory 2 x 9500GT 2GB SLI GFX ('eBay' item no: 170371186740)."

please reply to all posts in the box at the bottom of this page, DO NOT start another thread on the same subject as no one an then follow the progress

You will need to change the mode to suit the TV refresh rates. What type of TV Flat screen or CRT?

The computer's specs are: QUAD CORE 14.4Ghz -8GB Memory 2 x 9500GT 2GB SLI GFX ('eBay' item no: 170371186740). Can't find anything re the power supply via the 'eBay' page.
The TV being used is a 50" Samsung (will have to enquire further more details).
