Blocking downloads from internet?

Hi there
We are a host family for foreign language students and offer them use of our wifi. Recently someone brought to our attention that we must be careful about students downloading music and films. We were told if they download more than what our contracted limit is then we would have to foot a potentially enormously high bill. So, is it possible to put restrictions on the wifi use?

all i can suggest maybe a surf control program like net nanny which allows yo to block sites using keywords their is a free one called k9 click here

i cant guarantee the success of it but may be worth a try

NOTE

when using such program the account you let them use must be limited and any administrator accounts must be password protected to prevent them
un-installing the software
