Open the file called


which is in system32, dirvers, etc folder

The file has no extension - open with notepad

After the writing there, type then tab thentype the address of the site, eg www. pcadvisor. without the spaces

my daughter has made her own web site but it is bad,want to block this site from being viewed on her pc.

depending on your daughters age you could approach whoever is hosting the site and get it taken down?

IE Tools/Internet Options, Privacy tab, Sites button. Type in web address and click the Block button.

What VoG™ says will block it for IE.

Does it block it for other browsers?
