If it goes blank for "at least a minute" then something or lots of somethings are slow in loading. When it has fully booted up type msconfig into either the Search box or the Run box (if you have it displayed) and hit Enter. Look at the Startup Tab and see what you have loading on Startup. You can usually clear most things, I only have about 4 things ticked including Windows Defender, Avast and Utilities for my Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard. When you have unticked all the non-essential boxes Reboot and see if your black screen time is shortened.
