An error in Bitdefender antivirus disabled Firefox. And flagged a virus as Trojan 1607990Updating Bitdefender again will cure / allow you to reinstall Firefox.
Hi, just submitted the problem file myself - nssutil3.dll - thanks for the update.
Ive had the same issue with my AV Bullguard
Same here with Bullguard.
Just ran the update which has been telling me there are no newer definitions for the past couple of hours - (I don't think this trial version is issued updates as often as a fully-paid-up one) - Firefox reinstalled OK.
Seems OK now after updating latest updates, within Bullguard.I'm just glad I have xmarks was (foxmarks)for all my bookmarks as I tried a reinstall of Firefox first
Your Firefox bookmarks won't be affected by a re-install, your profile info stays put unless you clear it out yourself. Always a good idea to have a backup though....
Thanks I was not aware of that ,with xmarks I can access my bookmarks on any PC
Business back to normal with latest Bullguard update.
