Hello, all !.
Just been to the Crucial www site for memory upgrade for a Fujitsu Myrica Intel PIII 650E MHZ on motherbord says M6VBE and bios post boot says VB-A 1206A motherboard chipsets seem all to be VIA.

Looked at crucial site for Fujitsu model and PII and also P3 600/650MHz not 100% convinced on given spec/available memory for this pc model as it doesn't match the DIMMS on my board to the one stated.

So I managed to work out the M6VBE is a Biostart M/board went back to Crucial but Biostar not listed.

Have Biostar got aanother name or can anyone help which the correct memory is at crucial site.

current PC with a low single stick of 64MB PC100 with another 2 free banks.

Thanks all in advance.

VIA VT82C693A if this helps but I would really like to be able to use the Crucial website.

There is no Biostar in the Motherboard list and the refference for my Fujitsu siemens Myrica pc built on the P3 or PIII against the crucial search against my pc's fitted Intel PIII 650e MHz CPU confuses me no end.

Whats the difference between Intel P3 and PIII is the 600MHz at crucial site acurate or is it the 650MHz when matching.

Please help.

Ghost-in-U, if you have any doubt about the correct memory for your motherboard the best thing is to phone Crucial.

Freephone: 0800 013 0330

International: +44 (0)1355 586 100

P3 and PIII are different ways of saying the same thing. It is unlikely there is any difference between the memory for a 600MHz and 650MHz processor.

Instead of looking at upgrades I went straight in for popular manufacurers.

Thanks All for the pointer, Bad Day.
