BIOS & USB Keyboard

Tonight I wanted to go into the bios but after 3 attempts of not getting in I realised it was my usb keyboard, I do have a normal keyboard so I plugged in and got into the bios. My question is this normal, I realise now that the keyboard doesn't come on until well into bootup.

Is there not a setting in the bios to allow usb keyboard and mouse on bootup?

Thanks Rayuk I will give this a go, and tick this as solved as it is not too important but might help someone else.

You need a late type BIOS for USB support

I haven't tried yet. I am going to try and upgrade a load of new kit shortly, you will probably see my cries for help.
