my pc has just started to hang for no apparent reason.
using win xp home sp2(been installed for ages with n problems)i have an athlon 2600+ on a msi kt4v mother board with 512mb of ram and a seagate barracudu 80gb hdd.the problem is only within the last week.

when i turn it on it hangs on the main bios boot up screen and wont get past memory, hdd and cdrom post, and i have to keep turning it on and off several times to get it to start properly into windows.

i have tested the hdd with seagates diag tools and it shows no problems is it a motherboard fault?
any help or ideas gladly accepted before i look for new mb
