Bigger hard drive for a dell Inspron 1525

Hi Wonder if someone can point me in the right direction here. I want to upgrade my internal drive on my Dell Inspron 1525.The one i have installed at the moment is a 120 GB I wish to upgrade it to a 320GB or more if that's possible I have looked but to be quite honest I am not shure which type to buy can anybody tell which type to buy or better still a company that sells them as well many thanks

I suggest you take the drive out and have a look at what sort you have got. Make a note of the make and model number.

And you will need something like Acronis to Image the Drive to restore to the new drive

right have found this info about the hard drive in my dell is this enough info its a Segate Model No ST9160821AS Interface Serial ATA to get a biger one or do you need some more

It should take any SATA 2.5ins Laptop hard drive of the size you want This should be okay plus its a 7200 rpm speed, Seagate normally have three year warranty

Serial ATA means it is a SATA drive not EIDE
