I agree; I recall reading a review that said it was head and shoulders above the rest.

Unfortunately, its not cheap. The best price "UK" I can see is from Amazon, £53.99 (including postage).

Or, £43 from the French based Pixmania; (I don`t know their p/p charges)

I have a D-Link NetEasy 350 Pro which has a proper CCD, 640x480 resolution capability and is terrific value for money at under £20; however, there's no mike but these are cheap to buy in any case.

The reason I'm mentioning it is that Scan of Bolton, where it was originally acquired by my son, is offering two of these webcams for just under £35 AND a third one FOC on its TodayOnly page...:-)

The performance of the D-Link webcam is equivalent to a Creative VideoBlaster webcam costing nearly £50 that I used to own.

0r you could try the Logitech QuickCam Messenger offers everything you need in a web camera: ease of use, quality video, a built-in microphone and all the software you need to transform your home PC into a budget video communication studio.
