Best way to hook up multi-games console network

Hi,

I run a network cable from my router (located upstairs)to my Xbox 360 (located downstairs) so that I can access Xbox Live. Next week I will be picking up a PS3 and want to hook it up to the new Playstation Network

The PS3 will be sited next to the Xbox.

I don't want to run another network cable from the router, outside the house, to plug in to the PS3 so is there any way I can plug the existing cable in to a switch or a splitter from which I can then run two network cables, one each for XB360 and PS3?

Thanks,

Evo

You could get hold of a cheap or network switch? That would do the job.
