Best way to control access to router by teenager

wireless set up with Sky, have had to restrict access to teenager, at the moment I switch the router of at 10:30pm meaning no one can use it after this time, anyway of configuring the router to restrict access

On the BT 2wire router each machine can be given time slots when they can/can't access the net or specific sites blocked. You would have to log into the routers admin. screen and then look for access or security settings. If the teenager has wireless and there is an unsecured network near by they could be on the net without using your router. I believe many use the pay as you go dongles to get round adult interference in their online social life's.

If you install K9 on his computer you can set that to block anything and control times of use.

Just Google for the free software (k9 web protection)

Have to block at the router.

But then your darling little ankle biter will probably just use their mobile phone as a modem.

If you stop that they will resort to crime and then do time and get hooked on crack. Probably become psychotic and 'go postal'. And it would all be tyrranical parents' fault........... carried away there.
