Best router for wi fi

I am at present using a BT homehub 4, I am constantly on the phone to BT to complain about the wifi with this router, It struggles to go through one wall, They have changed channel etc but no better My question is would I improved this by buying another router which is better for wifi, I have read that routers provided by ISPs arent generally the best If so could anyone suggest one thank you for looking

I would look at the Netgear range. Here is just one example::

When I was on ADSL I found TP-LINK routers better than Netgear but each to their own. Depends how much you want to spend. Suggest you search Amazon for ADSL Routers and look carefully at the reviews at the bottom of page.

If a thick wall, I'd probably opt for Homeplugs (the second being wireless).
