Best place for software purchases?

Now my PC is running fine (touch wood) it would be a good time to take an image of it's contents. Having looked at Norton Ghost, DriveImage and Acronis True Image I've decided to go for the latter. Can anyone give decent reliable software suppliers who sell for the right price, after all I am 1/16 Jewish.

Personally I use Norton Ghost. Most of the program is no longer used, but the ghost image floppy is always being dragged out to keep a very up-to-date version of my op sys.

As Norton does not tend to get discounted too much, I think it will be a case of trwling through various web sites until you find one that you can trust and have not heard bad things about here!

a local computer fair is another.

click here (promotional offers exclusive to Micromart readers), Norton Ghost 2003 is £33.25, (plus delivery)

PCWorld or Staples are other places you might find the software albeit at vastly expanded prices. can someone explain why?

PCWorlds price :-
SYMANTEC PC-CD NORTON GHOST 2003
$39.99 Price inc VAT

hope this helps
