Best opensource firewall and anti virus

Does anyone know what the moste reliable and best opensource firewall and anti-virus is?

I dont know of any. However I think you may be looking for free rather than open source.

Zone Labs Zone alarm free is the best firewall I have used

And AVG antivirus home is one of my preferences in the free AV software section.

Google both if you want them as they are readily available.

However reliable and opensource is something that is really going to be dubious. Other than being able to be modded by yourself the advantages only really lie in that updates can happen more often but with care anyway you can avoid virus problems. I see little point really.

Though I wouldn't use them from choice. Have you considered Comodo, while not Opensource as such, there aren't any real license limitations. click here
