If you are looking for an economy system, then the Syntax KT266 is fine at about £21 click here, if you are looking for something a bit higher quality, then I would recommend the ASUS A7V8X-X at abou £41 click here.

thanks all for replies - comp is for general home use,no highlevel gaming.Have Win XP installed with 512of mem at present on cheap PCchips board.I realise I will have to move up to DDR memory.Built in sound and video would be OK

i would go for the MSI KT4AV at 39.99 from savastore. have used it in previous builds and am happy with it. Has integrated sound, AGP, 6 usb 2 ports, lan port and supports Amds up to 2800.
