Someone has asked me if it's possible to get a laptop for £500, needs good back-up if things go wrong, I usually buy from Aldi (Medion) but they are dearer than £500 it has to have at least 15inch screen as it's for someone with poor eyesight, I know Lidl have a small 12 inch model coming in soon but it's not big enough, thanks for any help,
I use Novatech quite a lot because I live local to it and only once had to return something with they replaced without question or even testing it they just took my word. The only thing that I will say don't forget to add O/S to the price because they don't show that untill you go through the process of starting to enquire about them because they do sell with no O/S in case you have your own retail version.
Acer make great laptops at this price point and with 'cheap' extended warranties/accidental damage also (comet tend to be very cheap for laptops i've noticed lately, but their warranties are more than if you buy the acer advantage warranty from other online retailers where 3 years is usually about 80 pounds or so!)
That is slower than my recommendation and less memory but depends on what you want... screen vs. performance, given that they were suggesting a 14" screen I'd still be tempted by mine but that is a good deal also.
