Best Hard Drive

Anyone got any ideas/suggestions on which Hard Drive to buy.

it depends on the capacity and budget you are looking for, western digital make very gd hard drives, but they are quite expensive, it is true wat the saying says "you get wat u pay for"

check click here for computer components, they are very good and very resnobley priced, i have bought lots of things from there and they deliver the goods very quickly and in great condition

personally i'm a fan of seagate my drives are oh so quiet, (just wish my fans were too)buy the best you can afford ,look for 7200rpm and ATA100 as a minimum and bare in mind the buffer size , the bigger the better.

I swear by my Western Digital Caviar with it;s 8mb cache. It worls out at roughly £1.00 per GB. The more you buy the cheaper it is.

And boy is it fast :)

My HDD LED barely blinks most of the time - only when gaming, and even then it's not much.
