Best graphic software? Price no object, for wife!

  LAP 16:01 20 Jan 2007

I would like to buy my wife a present. She creates joke books and likes to add the odd picture ie cartoon characters. Is there a software where having created her own character she can then move the characters arms say, then save this and then move the legs etc. This is without having to start from scratch.

It will be a special present so not botherd about the price.

It, or others mentioned in the review may be more suiyable for your pruposes than a more general purpose graphics program.

For creating moveable figures try Poser click here, for drawing Corel or Illustrator click here, also check out Photoshop on this site.

All of these will cost hundreds of pounds each, so it will have to be really special.

For a cheaper image editor try Paint Shop Pro as jack has suggested.

There are alos the programs sold by Serif click here

Thanks everybody. From your link 'Lenc' we are looking at MagicalSketch 2 and are now downloading the free trial. I will tick resolved as you have given me more than enough ideas to try. Thanks very much.
