best free program for burning films to dvd

was using nero 8 trial but now ran out should i pay for this or is their a free program which will do same job films/music ect.

I doubt very much whether you will find a good free program to do what you want. I would advise paying for Nero8 if you are happy with that one.

ok tried it strawballs it took 5 mins to burn avi to disk brill nero took 2 hrs to do same job why is this ?

As I said easy to use and it's free, I have full version of nero 7 and tend to use the free one the most.

i use Deepburn for years for making DVD copy for friends for palyback on DVD palyer and PC....that really work great with no constrains

Surely this CD/DVD burning prog will not edit etc a film for DVD, where as Nero has editting and burning functions incorporated in it? David
