Can someone please recomend a no frills no nonsense browser to replace Internet Explorer 6 or 7 I don't need to get the latest news and all the other rubbish which comes with a lot of browsers out there. I just want a fast efficient browser to get online and is also compatable with Outlook Express. Many thanks

Outlook Express is built into IE,so that is out of the question im afraid.

However,try Firefox browser and Thunderbird as your email client.

Plenty of options for a different browser;

Firefox,Flock,Opera etc.

I should have explained better;

You can still use Outlook Express and a different browser with no problems.

I use firefox with the adblock plus add on,this makes quite a difference in speed of pages loading.
However using IE7 with ie7pro is still pretty quick.

Install these extensions and you would be surprise now easy Firefox is to use compare to IE7

Allow Right Click, Auto Copy, Bookmark Backup, British English Dictionary, Clear Fields,

Download Status Bar, Foxmarks Bookmark Synchronizer, MR Tech's Disable XPI Install Delay

IE Tab, an extension that will allow Internet Explorer to be shown as a Firefox tab.

Organize Status Bar, PDF Download, Tab Mix Plus, Update Notifies, Split Browser,

Smart Bookmarks Bar

If extensions not to you liking just uninstall extension from the add on section – Tools – Click Add

On and click Get Extensions bottom right hand side
