Best Broadband only??

  Pepper9 16:35 10 Nov 2008

I live in area NE42. I have checked "Samknows" for the connections in my area. Can anyone recommend a broadband only provider - I do not need a router or TV or telephone line.

If you don't have cable, and don't want a telephone line, how do you expect to get broadband????

I have a telephone line (obviously) but I meant that I already have a telephone provider (for calls and line rental) who I would like to stay with. I just need a broadband provider who will give me web space and email provision (I am currently with Tesco).

I can highly recommend Zen as an ISP. Although they are expensive £17.99 a month. They offer an exceptional service, technical support if you need it and web space.

Look here click here

I swear by O2, iy cost £7.50 a month if you have O2 mobile, if not, £12 per month.

24/7 helpline, uk call centre, calls free.

Agree with frenchman96 100% - O2 are excellent
I have 8mb unlimited for £7.50 as on a mobile contract.
7100+mb/1100mb are the normal (down/up speeds)

Helpdesk are ... refreshingly helpful

You need a BT line though - you didnt say if you had moved way

I have line rental with First Telecom (+ their call package) at the moment.

Looking at Samknows from your results if that was me I would deffo be looking at 02/Be as Frenchman96 Says if you look at the ratings people have given them O2 in my opinion is the better besides O2 and Be are the same but O2 is cheaper if you have O2 as your mobile provider.

Can you post your full line stats so we can see what speed you can get??

Full line stats? sorry for being a little slow but where do I find those?
