The best anti-virus?

  dm8660 21:08 03 Dec 2004

I've AVG pro - fully up to date but still seem to suffer from the odd trojan creeping when I've let the kids on my PC.

AVG seems not to detect these whereas such utillities as stinger and on-line file scanners from Kaspersky labs identify them.

Starting to lose faith in AVG - what's best - even at a price?

Regards to all

Most AV software isn't very good at detecting and removing trojans which is why running dedicated anti-trojan software alongside them is a good idea. Try a² click here or Ewido (XP & 2K) click here (Ewido is better if you have XP or 2K in my opinion). Both free.

Best av software, well i would say that some av software is better than none,as for witch is best ,it really doesn't matter if you have AV protection and it does the job it is supposed to do then thats sorted,no need to ask is one better than the other.
