Belkin 54Mbps aDSL Modem with built-in router F5D7630uk4a. Windows O/S XP/
i.p. Tiscali Broadband using sagem [email protected] 800 E2T
supplied usb connected modem with set up software. Can connect to internet using supplied
tiscali equipment immediately on a Adsl connection speed 3X {150}. Have bought above Belkin equipment entered all the correct info into the browser interface for this equipment.
But cannot connect to the internet despite the
Adsl Syn light on the equipment appearing solid
green indicating there is a Adsl connection. The adsl data light is not showing anything. But the Lan1 light is showing good connection to my P.C.
Advent 3119. It should just go straight online but just shows all the time on the browser interface that its not connected in red. Have checked I.P. settings and user name/password are all correct? I,ve tried rebooting the router as well and downloading a update. Any good ideas would be much appreciated as i,ve bee trying to solve this for days.

"Have checked I.P. settings and user name/password are all correct?" You should be using the DHCP server within your router, or have you setup your IP addresses manually?

You did not mention but have you checked the following settings on your router.

VCI - 38

VPI - 0

Encapsulation mode - VCMux

Authentication - Chap

Protocol - PPPoA

Tiscali Primary DNS Server -

Tiscali Secondary DNS Server -
